      I’m helping calibrate a new satellite called Sentinel-3 which was launched in February this year. Some of my colleagues have just spend two months crossing the Atlantic Ocean on a ship, measuring the light reflected and absorbed by the ocean. Now I’m comparing their data with the images the satellite took at that time and place to see if they match. If they don’t match it would mean that the satellite’s camera it’s working in a different way than we expected!
